Comparable store sales growth, often called "Same Store Sales Growth", is a measure of revenue growth for stores that have been in existence between 12-24 months (depending on the company). Comparable revenue growth looks only at the growth in sales at existing stores or restaurants - overall revenue growth, in contrast, includes the impact of new store openings and closings.
